Den Leader Resources

Being a Den Leader is one of the most important—and rewarding—roles in Cub Scouting. You help turn the program into something our Scouts can actually experience: friendships, adventure, new skills, confidence, and a sense of belonging.

This page is designed to make that job a little easier.

Here you’ll find practical tools, guides, templates, meeting resources, leadership ideas, advancement support, and other materials to help you plan engaging den meetings and create meaningful experiences for your Scouts. Resources may include everything from meeting-planning tools and activity ideas to Denner and Den Chief guidance, ceremonies, recognition ideas, outdoor resources, and Pack 1776-specific materials.

You do not have to reinvent the wheel or figure everything out on your own. Use what is helpful, adapt it to fit your den, and reach out when you need support.
