How many troops will be there?
Right now we have about 4-5 signed up and more showing interest. This will be the best way for your older cubs to learn which troops they want to cross over to—don't miss it!
How is this event different from Council Cub Events?
We won't have nearly as many cubs, 100-200 maximum. We surveyed our local community on what's most important in cub events and accommodated plenty of downtime with options to still be wild in the great outdoors!
Troop rotations devoted to our older cubs in the afternoon with High Adventures/Skills + Cracker Barrel Saturday night to learn more about troop style camping/connecting.
In addition to your patch, we will be providing a Wolf Fang Necklace where they will be awarded beads for various tasks throughout the weekend + all future COW camping trips, so make sure to get your name on those fangs!
If I can't come Friday night, what's the procedure for Saturday morning arrival?
we have a good game plan and will have this fully announced in the upcoming weeks.
Make sure to come to Foothills Roundtable March 5, 2026 for more details and hear other Q&A from the district.
Once registered via Tentaroo, your unit will also get a detailed email with more specifics + the Friday night Leadership meeting at Woodruff will break down additional details.
